As a class representative in both my previous and current years, and through my service in the 17th Academic Subcommittee, I have gained firsthand experience listening to students, working with representatives and understanding how student leadership works. Each pillar begins with listening and one manageable pilot, not a university-wide launch. By the end of October 2026 all four have a first documented step; a feasibility decision on Smart Learning Spaces by the end of January 2027; the first interfaculty challenge and the first Faculty Spotlight Week by the end of April 2027. After each pilot or event, a short outcome summary is published.
These are proposed milestones, not promises that depend on approvals outside the Female academic Rep’s control, and they assume a September 2026 start to the term. Not every idea can be delivered directly by one representative. The role is to represent, coordinate, advocate, follow up and help turn viable student priorities into action.
